Water Damage Restoration

A complete response to water intrusion, covering inspection, water removal, drying, moisture verification and the repair of damaged materials. This is the service most property owners need when a pipe fails, an appliance overflows or water enters from a neighboring unit. We document the affected areas, define the scope of work and carry the project through to finished repairs.

Water Removal

Extraction of standing and trapped water using pumps and extraction equipment. Water is removed from floors, subfloors, carpets, closets and enclosed cavities where it collects out of sight. Removing water quickly limits how far it spreads through floor assemblies and shared walls in multi-unit Manhattan buildings.

Water Cleanup

Cleaning of the affected space once water has been removed. This includes clearing debris, removing saturated materials that cannot be dried, wiping and cleaning hard surfaces, and preparing the area so drying equipment can work effectively. Water cleanup in NYC apartments often includes protecting hallways and shared access routes during the process.

Flood Cleanup

Response to larger volumes of water affecting basements, ground floors, cellars and storage areas. Flood cleanup involves bulk water removal, clearing soaked contents and materials, cleaning the space, and drying the structure before any rebuilding takes place.

Structural Drying

Controlled drying of framing, subfloors, wall cavities and other structural elements. Air movers and dehumidifiers are positioned according to the layout of the space, and moisture readings are checked over the following days until levels return to normal. Drying is completed before repairs begin so new materials are not installed over damp surfaces.

Moisture Control

Monitoring and management of residual moisture and humidity during the drying period. This includes checking readings in walls, floors and enclosed areas, adjusting equipment placement as conditions change, and confirming that hidden pockets of moisture have been addressed rather than sealed behind finishes.

Leak Damage Cleanup

Targeted cleanup for slow or repeated leaks from pipes, radiators, roofs, windows, bathrooms and kitchen fixtures. Slow leaks often cause staining, soft drywall and damaged ceilings before they are noticed, so the affected materials are opened up, dried and then repaired.

Repair & reconstruction

Rebuilding the damaged areas

Once the structure is dry, the visible damage is repaired so the space can be used normally again.

Ceiling & Wall Repair

Repair of ceilings and walls damaged by water travelling from above or through adjacent spaces. Damaged sections are cut out, the cavity is dried and inspected, and the surface is rebuilt, taped, finished and prepared for paint so the repair blends with the surrounding area.

Drywall Repair

Removal and replacement of water-damaged drywall, including patch repairs for small areas and full board replacement where the material has lost strength. Joints are taped, compounded and sanded to produce a smooth, paint-ready surface.

Interior Restoration

Finishing work that returns a room to a completed condition: trim and baseboard replacement, door and frame adjustments, painting, and reinstallation of fixtures and flooring where required. The goal is a space that looks finished rather than patched.

General Contracting Repair

General repair and small construction work for apartments, brownstones, co-ops and commercial units in Manhattan, including work that is not directly related to water damage. As a general contractor we can coordinate the sequence of demolition, repair and finishing within one project.

Residential & Commercial Restoration

Restoration work for both property types. Residential projects include apartments, condominiums, co-ops, brownstones and multi-family buildings; commercial projects include offices, retail spaces and small commercial units where scheduling around business operations matters.
